PM Kisan 16th Installment: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme to empower farmers, through which they can get financial assistance. The 15th instalment of PM Kisan Yojana was released on November 15, 2023. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 16th installment of PM Kisan Scheme. However, the 16th instalment will be available only to those farmers who have got their e-KYC done. The last date for getting e-KYC done is January 31, 2024. All eligible farmers should ensure to get their e-KYC done on time so that they can get the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year in 3 equal instalments. This is the world's largest DBT scheme. Till now, more than 11 crore farmers have got the benefit.
Farmers can get e-KYC done through thumb impression by visiting their nearest e-Mitra, and CSC centres, and PM Kisan can do e-KYC themselves through face by downloading the GOI app. Farmers can get their bank account linked to Aadhaar, or apart from the bank, they can get DBT linked to open the account through India Post Bank.

Step 2: Request for biometric authentication online
Step 3: Show him your original documents and provide your biometrics
Step 4: Your application will be submitted and KYC will be done
