Petrol, diesel price May 11: Petrol and diesel prices were once again hiked by oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Tuesday, May 11. This is the sixth hike this month since May 4, when the OMCs had raised the rates after keeping it unhanged for 18 days.  As per the IOCL website, petrol and diesel got costlier by 27 paise per litre and 30 paise per litre, respectively. The recent hikes also saw many states breaching Rs 100 mark as far fuel rates are concerned. Now, petrol price in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh has crossed Rs 100 per litre already. Petrol is being retailed at Rs 100.50 per litre at Parbhani in Maharashtra, Rs 102.70 per litre at Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan and in MP's Anuppur district it is being sold for Rs 102.40 per litre.

After the revised rates on May 11, petrol prices in Delhi will cost Rs 91.80 per litre as against Rs 91.53 on Monday. Similarly, diesel price in the National Capital is Rs 82.36 per litre as compared to Rs 82.06 a litre on Monday.
