Postal Pension Scheme - 49th Postal Pension Adalat: The pensioners from the postal department in the Maharashtra circle must note that there is an important update for them. The 49th Postal Pension Adalat on September 28, 2021, will entertain certain grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who have retired or deceased while in service.

Which issues will be addressed?

As per the press release from the Ministry of Communications, the concerned individuals must note that grievances related to the following areas will be entertained:

1) In the postal Pension Adalat, grievances regarding pensionary benefits relating to those who retired or died in service, pensioners from Maharashtra and Goa states which have not been settled within three months, will be entertained

2) It must be noted that the cases involving purely legal points, that is, succession, notional pension, TBOP/MACP promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters will not be considered in Pension Adalat.

Process of submitting grievances

The pensioners must note that they should forward their grievances individually and not in bulk or on behalf of others. The grievance should be forwarded in triplicate in the Proforma attached to the following address:

The pensioners must note that the applications should be send on or before August 31, 2021. The applications received after August 31, 2021 will not be considered in the Pension Adalat.

The physical attendance for pension adalat should be avoided due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.

49th Postal Adalat for Maharashtra circle

The pensioners must note that the 49th Pension Adalat will be conducted by the Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra circle, Mumbai on September 28, 2021, at 11 AM.

49th Postal Adalat for Nagpur region

The Postmaster General of the Nagpur region will also be holding 49th Postal Pension Adalat on September 2, 221 at 11 AM. The pensioners can apply in the proforma to:
