How to pay electricity bills online using Paytm and Google Pay?

Electricity bill online payment: Domestic electricity bills are the expenses that one needs to keep an eye on each month.  Electricity bill is directly related to how much one uses it, there are regional variations due to the various rates by electricity providers. There were times when one has to visit the electricity board office to pay electricity bills. Now, electricity consumers can pay the bill easily sitting at home. Paying electricity bills online is a very simple and convenient process. To do this, an individual requires a customer ID number and bill amount from their latest electricity bill. Further, one needs to visit mobile applications or websites like Paytm, enter the electricity bill details, and proceed with the payment. 

How to check electricity bills online?

Step 1: Open the Paytm application and click on Electricity bills

Step 2: Now, enter your consumer number and proceed

Step 3: On the next screen, the bill amount will be displayed. There, you can find your electricity bill

Here is how to pay an electricity bill using Google Pay:

Step 1: Open the Google Pay.

Step 2: Click on the "New payment" option.

Step 3: Now on the next select the "Bill Payments" option.

Step 4: From the different bill payment options select the 'Electricity' tab.

Step 5: Then select the agency whose payment you want to make.

Step 6: Once you select the desired company, you will need to link your consumer account to finish up the payment process.

Step 7: Enter the amount you want to pay a bill and pay the bill using the UPI PIN.
