Systematic Investment Plan (SIP): A Systematic Investment Plan, also known as SIP, is simple and systematic method to pour money periodically in a mutual fund (MF) for a particular period. Mutual funds are managed by equity professionals of the industry, who allocate the fund's investments and attempt to generate equity gains for investors. However, Mutual fund investments require a good amount of money to start with and to allay the confusion deciding the amount of money to be invested, SIP is the best option.
