Domestic LPG cylinder prices have been hiked by Rs 50 effective today, March 2022. The hike in cylinder prices comes after it was last increased on October 6, 2021.

With this hike, LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 949.50 in Delhi and Mumbai instead of Rs 899.50 previously. From Rs 926 per cylinder, the prices have been hiked to Rs 976 in Kolkata, Rs 965.50 from Rs 915.50 in Chennai.
Instead of Rs 938, a LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 987.5 in Lucknow and Rs 1039.5 in Patna from Rs 988 per cylinder earlier.
Meanwhile, oil market companies have also raised petrol and diesel prices by 80 paise per litre from Tuesday. This is the first hike since November. As per Indian Oil Corporation Liminted, the new prices will come into effect from today, March 22. Indian state-run oil companies have not raised prices since November 4.
Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 96.21 per litre as against Rs 95.41 previously while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 86.67 per litre to Rs 87.47.
Earlier, diesel prices for bulk consumers have been raised by around Rs 25 per litre following a 40% increase in worldwide oil prices due to the current Russia-Ukraine conflict.
