Life Insurance Corporation of Indian (LIC) has huge customer base and is a very popular insurance policy among government employees, including central government employees and pensioners. India's largest insurers recently claimed that it has collected highest ever premium during Corona times. "LIC Collects highest ever Rs 1.84 Trillion (Lakh Crores) New Premium in Corona Period as per provisional figures. Pays Rs.1.34 Trillion as claims to policyholders," said LIC India in a tweet.

LIC Policy Online Status Check

Step 1:  Go to LIC official website licindia.in

Step 2: Register yourself with the portal to check details

Step 3:  To register, you just need to enter tour date of birth and policy number. You won't be charged for this registration. Once registered, you can check status of your policy anytime online.  
Step 4:  For any further query you can get in touch with these LIC number: 022 6827 6827. Also, you can send message LICHELP <Policy number> on 9222492224. LIC does not charges anything for this message either.  

How to check LIC Policy Status through Message
You just need to send SMS on 56677 to know status of your LIC policy. If you want to know premium of your LIC policy, you need to type 'ASKLIC PREMIUM' and send the SMS on 56677. If your policy has lapsed, you can type 'ASKLIC REVIVAL' and send it on 56677.
