One of the ways to do your ITR verification online is Net Banking. All you have to do is to go to the official website and select the net banking option. Now using your Login ID and Password, log into your account. You will find an ‘E-Verification’ tab under the Tax tab.
Step by step ITR Verification process through Net Banking
Generate an EVC (Electronic Verification Code) by clicking on ‘My Account’ of Income-Tax Department. After clicking on this, you will receive a 10-digit code on your registered mobile number. This code is valid up to 72 hours.
Now, to verify your ITR return, go to the My Account option and put the EVC code. Your ITR return will be verified after Submitting the code.
This means your ITR verification through net banking has been successful.
