IPPB has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle about its mobile banking services. The tweet said, "@IPPBOnline offers numerous banking services through its Mobile Banking App. Now at the comfort of your home you can do fund transfer, Bill payments, payment to Postal schemes through just a click!"

The IPPB customers must note that IPPB offers a state-of-the-art, simple, secure and easy-to-use mobile banking service through a mobile app in order to access the IPPB account and carry out transactions from the convenience of mobile phone.
The new customers can open digital savings account by downloading the IPPB app on android phone from the google play store to activate banking services and then the person will have to follow the on-screen instructions.
Now, in case of an existing customer, one can get benefits of mobile banking facility by linking the registered mobile number with IPPB account, opened at the Post Office/ through our Postman/ GDS at your doorstep. One has to follow some simple steps in order to do so. They are as follows:
Step 1: Download the IPPB app on android phone from the google play store
Step 2: The the user will have to enter these details - Account number, Customer ID (CIF) and DOB, Registered mobile number
Step 3: The user will receive a one-time-password (OTP) on your registered mobile number
Step 4: Then one has to set the MPIN
Step 5: Now, the user has to enter the OTP
The users must be aware of the various mobile services available on IPPB mobile banking. They are as follows:
1) Account balance enquiry
2) Request for a statement of your account
3) Transfer funds within the bank
4) Transfer funds to other bank accounts
5) Pay water, electricity and utility bills
6) Recharge prepaid and DTH (direct-to-home) services
7) Manage your funds with the linked POSA (Post Office Savings Account) by using Sweep-in and Sweep-out facility
