India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) is giving its customers an opportunity to enjoy banking facilities at home with Doorstep Banking(DSB) services.
"We provide delivery of ‘Direct Benefit Transfer’ scheme at our customer’s doorstep. To book doorstep appointment, submit request at https://ccc.cept.gov.in/ServiceRequest/request.aspx," IPPB tweeted.

As per the information provided by the bank, you can open a bank account, transfer funds, deposit and withdraw cash, recharge or pay bills, buy life insurance and general insurance, etc. with the doorstep banking services facility, at nominal charges (NIL charge for new account opening at your doorstep).
You can also access your Aadhaar linked accounts held with other bank and avail some of the services like Cash withdrawal. The service is available for all citizens across every district, town and village of country through local Post Men and Gramin Dak Sevaks.

The benefits of India Post Payment Bank Doorstep Service include banking from the comfort of your home, easy and convenient banking, instant account opening, simple, secure and hassle-free banking.
Services offered
The services offered include account opening, cash deposits or withdrawals, money transfers, recharge and bill payments, instant mobile and DTH recharge, water and electricity bill payments, account related services, ability to access your Aadhaar linked accounts held with other banks, third-party services like life insurance, general insurance, mutual Funds and financial services like mobile number update in Aadhaar, Digital Life Certificate generation “Jeevan Pramaan”, payment of Post office products.
Doorstep request submission process:
1. Call at the call centre - 155299.
2. Ad-hoc request through GDS, Postmen or Post office
Service delivery hours:
The request can be raised for minimum for T+2 maximum to T+10. Customer can pick time slot for delivery of service between 11:00 AM to 4 PM on scheduled date.
Doorstep Banking Service charges: (Applicable from September 1, 2021)
Rs 20 plus GST per doorstep visit per customer serviced beyond 1Km from the Post Office. No limit on number of transactions during a DSB visit for one customer (CIF). If in the same visit another customer is served, this will be considered as separate DSB delivery and will be chargeable.
Charges applicable on individual product or service availed during DSB visit will be as per “Schedule of charges” and will be in addition to the DSB charges.
