How to change EPF exit date online? See details here

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members must note that they now have the facility to update their date of exit. Now, in order to do so, they have to login to the EPFO portal with their UAN ID and password. In case of any further details and queries, the EPFO members can login to the official website of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in.

In one of its recent tweets, EPFO tweeted about how the process of updating the date of exit from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "Now #Employees can also update their Date of Exit."

Now, in order to update the date of exit, the EPFO members have to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:

Step 1: The EPFO members will have to login to unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and login with the UAN ID and password

Step 2: Then the EPFO members will have to go to the 'Manage' option and click on 'Mark Exit' and choose the PF account number from the 'Select Employment' dropdown menu

Step 3: Following this, the EPFO member will have to enter date of exit and reason of exit

Step 4: After this, one has to enter request OTP and enter the OTP sent on the Aadhaar linked mobile number

Step 5: The EPFO members will now have click on 'Update'

Step 6: Finally, the users will have to click on 'Ok'

After following the above-mentioned methods, the date of exit for the EPFO members will be updated successfully.

In this other EPFO related news, it must be informed that a total of Rs 52.17 lakh COVID-19 advance claims have been settled by the EPFO offices. A tweet from the official Twitter handle of Ministry of Labour said, "#EPFO offices have settled a total of 52.17 lakh COVID-19 advance claims, disbursing an amount of Rs. 11,182 crores to PF members from 01.04.2021 to 30.09.2021."
