Crorepati Calculator: How much should you invest in mutual funds monthly to get Rs 1 crore corpus?
A defined quantity of money is withdrawn from an investor's bank account regularly (monthly, quarterly, etc.) and invested in a mutual fund of your choice through a SIP. The number of units you purchase is determined by the mutual fund's Net Asset Value (NAV) at the time of purchase.
SIPs (Systematic investing Plans) are a popular investment option for many investors. It is one of the most convenient ways to invest a particular amount every investment cycle.
That's the reason that the number of SIP holders is increasing every month. Investments through SIPs also add discipline to one's investing habits because they need to save a particular amount every investment cycle.
While starting SIP, you should have a clear investment goal and the amount you want after a specified time period.
How does SIP work?
A defined quantity of money is withdrawn from an investor's bank account regularly (monthly, quarterly, etc.) and invested in a mutual fund of your choice through a SIP. The number of units you purchase is determined by the mutual fund's Net Asset Value (NAV) at the time of purchase. When NAV rates are low, more units are issued, and when NAV rates are high, fewer units are issued. This method, known as rupee cost averaging, can assist in reducing the impact of market volatility.
