Here is how to check if your Rs 500 note is genuine or fake - Check RBI document

The Government of India's PIB Fact Check team on its Twitter handle has busted a fake news related to Rs 500.
PIB Fact Check on its Twitter handle - @PIBFactCheck - has said that it has been claimed in a message that the Rs 500 note that carries green strip near Gandhiji's photo, instead of RBI Governor signature, is fake.
RBI has clarified that this is a claim is fake, and as per RBI, both the kind of Rs 500 notes are genuine and valid.
#PIBFactCheck
https://t.co/DuRgmRJxiN pic.twitter.com/vVk9T2d8hX
