HDFC Bank is giving this opportunity to its customers as part of its festival offers. Under this offer, the top spender every one hour between 12 pm to 10 pm during the offer period will get an iPad Air (64 GB) free. 12 pm to 10 pm will be as per Indian Standard Time (IST). Every one hour is defined as span of each 60 minutes starting from 12 pm IST till 10 pm IST.

The offer is valid with HDFC Bank debit cards and credit cards and Easy EMI on credit cards between October 10 and November 15. ATM withdrawals and loan on card have been kept out of the preview of the offer. 

Time at which the transaction is done as per HDFC Bank credit & debit card system will be considered for this offer. Credit card full swipe & EMI spends and debit card full swipe will be considered. Any cancellations, refunds and Smart EMI conversions will not be considered as spends. 

The offer will also apply to the customers holding multiple cards and multiple accounts spends done at Account level. 

Top spenders, one from credit cards and 1 from debit cards, will qualify every one hour during the period of 10 hours. 

In case, there is a tie between two or more customers wherein spends (amount) during specific one hour is exactly same for two or more customers, then customer reaching the highest mark first during that one hour will be considered as winner.  

This is how HDFC Bank explains it: For example, customer A & B both have done the total cumulative spends of Rs 1.25 lakh during 5 pm to 6 pm on Oct 10 and that is the highest spend during that slot. Where customer A has done 3 transactions, one at 5:05pm for Rs 60,000, second at 5:35pm for Rs 62,000 and third at 5:55pm for Rs 3,000 and customer B has done 2 transactions, one at 5:15pm for Rs. 1 lac and second at 5:45pm for Rs. 25,000 then customer B will qualify for the gift. 

The decision of HDFC Bank shall be final and binding in all respects concerning the offer. Top spenders from this program will be calculated up by the 90th day from end date of the program period. 

HDFC Bank website will published information of winners within 100 days of program completion. HDFC Bank staff are not eligible for participating in this program.

Customer will be able to win only once during the program period, even if customer is holding multiple cards. Though use of multiple cards during this program period increases chance of winning, a winner will be determined at an account level and not at card level.
