HDFC Bank home loan rates revised: Salaried women to get cheapest EMI; all details
HDFC Bank home loan rates: The lowest interest rate on home loan, offered by HDFC Bank would be starting at 8.40%.
Right after, SBI had cut its MCLR rate in line with RBI’s repo rate cut during August 2019 policy, the largest private lender HDFC Bank has also followed the same route. HDFC Bank has revised its home loan interest rates with effect from August 14, 2019. With new interest rates, home loan EMIs at HDFC Bank has definitely become cheaper. The salaried women would enjoy most benefits. The lowest interest rate on home loan, offered by HDFC Bank would be starting at 8.40% just 5 basis points away from SBI who offers 8.35% rate currently. Here’s the latest rate offered by HDFC Bank on home loan.
For salaried women who are opting home loan upto Rs 30 lakhs, HDFC Bank gives 8.40% to 8.90% interest rates, while for non-salaried women the rate is higher between 8.55% to 9.05%. Going forward, the salaried and non-salaried men enjoys rate between 8.45 to 8.95% and 8.60 to 9.15% respectively.
Earlier, a salaried and non-salaried women would pay interest rate up to 8.55% to 9.05% and 8.70% to 9.20% on home loan amount below Rs 30 lakh. Meanwhile, in others category, the interest rate is 8.60% to 9.10% for salaried group while it is 8.75% to 9.25% on non-salaried group.
If the home loan amount varies between Rs 30.01 lakh to Rs 75 lakh, then salaried women now enjoy interest rate between 8.75 to 9.25%, and that of non-salaried has 8.90 to 9.40%. In case of other category, 8.80 to 9.30% is given on salaried and 8.95 to 9.45% on non-salaried. Interest rate for these home loan amount before August 14, ranged from 8.80% to 9.45% for salaried and non-salaried women. As for other categories, the interest rate varies from lowest 8.85% to maximum 9.50%.
Meanwhile, now if home loan availed above Rs 75.01 lakh at HDFC Bank, then interest rate is 8.80 to 9.30% for salaried and 8.95 to 9.45% for non-salaried women. In regards to others category, between 8.85 to at 9.35% is offered to salaried and 9.00 to 9.50% to non-salaried. In this category, previously the interest rate varied from lowest 8.85% to maximum 9.50% on women, whereas for others category it is between 8.90% to 9.55%. These interest rates include both salaried and non-salaried individuals.
