HDFC Bank has said that the services will not work between 1 am and 12 pm on January 18 due to scheduled maintenance.

"Scheduled Maintenance Alert!  HDFC Bank Credit Card services on IVR, PhoneBanking, and Net/MobileBanking will not be available from 1 AM to 12 PM on 18th Jan 2020,'' an alert on the official HDFC website reads.

While this time the services will be shut for a system update, customers faced a few tough days in December 2019 when HDFC Bank's net banking and mobile app services were affected due to a technical problem for two days. The private lender had taken to its official Twitter handle for customer care to inform the customers about this issue.

In a separate development, the bank had launched a suite of white-label apps - myApps - for its customers last week. These apps will enable urban local bodies including Smartcities and municipalities, housing societies, clubs or gymkhanas and even religious institutions to completely digitise their ecosystem. The bank will offer a customised app as a value-added service in addition to its complete suite of banking products.

The app will allow HDFC Bank customers to make payments for utilities and fees, make online bookings for various facilities, stay updated on latest announcements, and utilise a host of other features offered by the institutions.
