Gold Prices Today: In the international market, the yellow metal pared gains and was down 0.09% at $1,792.54 an ounce. It briefly broke through the $1,800 barrier overnight for the first time in more than a month, as per a Reuters report said.
Gold Prices Today: On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), Gold October futures were down by 0.39 percent at Rs 52,284 per 10 grams as investors wait for a key US report on inflation to provide hints to the Federal Reserve`s plans for future monetary tightening. Silver September futures were seen trading at Rs 58,480 per kg after declining 0.53 percent.

Overnight, the dollar's losses were reversed, and it was trading flat in Asia. At $106.330, the dollar index, which compares the safe-haven against six major peers, was down 0.009%, according to Reuters.
