Gold Price Today: Prices of gold and silver are fluctuating at regular intervals at the end of the year. Compared to the last week, prices of the precious metals have come down a bit, however, overall, they are still up. On Thursday, Gold was trading in the green, with a gain of Rs 142 in on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). It was comfortably holding Rs 54,800 level in the afternoon trade. Silver was also fluctuating and trading near Rs 69,000 on December 29.

Gold-Silver Price on MCX
At 3:30 pm today, both metals are trading in the green. Gold February's futures quoted Rs 54,827 per 10 grams, up by 0.12 percent. Whereas Silver March's futures traded at Rs 69,035 per kg. The metal was up by 0.03 on the fourth day of the week.

Gold-Silver Price Yesterday
On Wednesday, Gold prices fell by Rs 5 to Rs 55,124 per 10 grams in the national capital. Similarly, silver also slipped Rs 332 to Rs 70,048 per kilogram, as per a PTI report.

Gold-Silver Price Globally
Globally, gold was trading 0.17 per cent lower at USD 1,812.70 per ounce in New York, said PTI.
