Gold Price Today, November 23: Yellow metal declines by Rs 1000 over past week, silver also falls on MCX - Check rates in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities
Gold Price Today: On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the Gold Decembers future quoted Rs 52,305 per 10 grams, up by 0.03 percent. While Silver December futures were trading at Rs 61,400 per kg, up by 0.68 percent in the afternoon trade.
Gold Price Today: The price of gold has further declined on Wednesday, November 23. The yellow metal has become cheaper by Rs 1,000 (approx) in the futures market in a week. On last Wednesday i.e. November 16, the price of the precious metal was near Rs 53,275, which today — November 23 — has come around the level of 52,300. There has also been a big drop in the price of silver.
Today, near 3:30 PM, both metals were trading in green on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The Gold December's future quoted Rs 52,305 per 10 grams, up by 0.03 percent. While Silver December futures were trading at Rs 61,400 per kg, up by 0.68 percent in the afternoon trade.
In the national capital, gold price declined by Rs 40 to Rs 52,797 per 10 gram on Wednesday amid a fall in prices of the yellow metal in overseas markets, according to HDFC Securities. Silver, however, climbed by Rs 110 to Rs 62,056 per kilogram.
According to PTI, the precious metal had closed at Rs 52,837 per 10 gram in the previous trade.
"COMEX gold edged lower in Asia as investors look to US Federal Reserve minutes due for release later tonight for fresh clues on the yellow metal's direction," said Dilip Parmar, Research Analyst at HDFC Securities.
In the international market, gold was quoting lower at USD 1,745 per ounce while silver was flat at USD 21.27 per ounce, as per PTI report.
