Gold Price today, May 6: The precious yellow metal opened slightly above 47, 000 per 10 gram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (Exchange) on Thursday.
Gold Price today, May 6: The precious yellow metal opened slightly above 47, 000 per 10 gram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday. June gold started the day with Rs 47,072 per 10 gm and was trading for 47092, up Rs 92.00 or 0.20% per 10 gram at 9.40 AM on MCX. In the initial trading hours, the yellow metal hit Rs 47151 mark.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices inched lower on Thursday due to a stronger dollar, while investors awaited the release of US non-farm payrolls data for April due later this week, said Reuters.
US Spot gold was down 0.1% at $1,785.05 per ounce by 0126 GMT. US. gold futures was steady at $1,785.10 per ounce, as even the dollar index hovered close to a two-week high, making gold more expensive for other currency holders.

Delhi Gold price May 6: In the National Capital, the precious metal price on Thursday is Rs 45,500 for 22-carat gold and Rs 49,640 for 24-carat gold
Mumbai Gold price May 6: In the financial capital, the gold is available for Rs 44,290 and Rs ₹45,290 for 22-carat and 24-carat gold.
Chennai Gold Price: In the Southern state, it is being sold for Rs 44,160 and Rs 48,170 for 22-carat and 24-carat gold respectively.
Kolkata Gold price May 6: In this metro city, 22-carat and 24-carat gold are available at Ra 46,240 and Rs 49,030 respectively.
