Gold Price Today, December 7: Gold and silver prices are continuously fluctuating on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). After reaching a five-month high on Monday, the price of the yellow metal dropped on Tuesday and Wednesday in the futures market.

Gold has become cheaper by approximately Rs 300 on November 6 and approximately Rs 250 on November 7 compared to the first day of the week.

Silver showed dullness too. The metal has become cheaper by approximately Rs 350 on November 6 on MCX compared to yesterday.

At 09:00 AM today, both metals were trading in green. Gold February's futures quoted Rs 53,749 per 10 grams, up by 0.46 percent. Whereas Silver metal was trading at 0.30 percent and above the Rs 65,000 level. The Silver March futures were at Rs 65,381 per kg, in the morning trade.

The volatility seen in the price of gold and silver metals is mainly due to the movement of the rupee against the US dollar, dollar index and rates in global markets. On Wednesday, the rupee fell 25 paise to 82.75 against US dollar in early trade.
