Gold Price Today, December 24: Yellow metal above Rs 54,500 on MCX, Silver near Rs 69,000 - Check rates in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities
Gold Price Today: At 01:00 pm today, both metals were trading in green. Gold Februarys futures quoted Rs 54,561 per 10 grams, up by 0.07 percent. Silver Marchs futures were trading at Rs 69,021 per kg.
Gold Price Today: Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On Tuesday, December 24, gold is trading near Rs 54,000 levels — which is cheaper by approximately Rs 53 in the futures market in a day. Yesterday (December 23), the price of the precious metal was near Rs 54,614, which has come down to 54,561 today.
However, silver was trading near 0.73 per cent on December 24 and maintained the level of Rs 69,000 in the afternoon trade of the future market.
At 01:00 pm today, both metals were trading in green. Gold February's futures quoted Rs 54,561 per 10 grams, up by 0.07 percent. Silver March's futures were trading at Rs 69,021 per kg.
In the international market, gold quoted lower at USD 1,797.8 per ounce while silver traded flat at USD 23.74 per ounce on December 23.
It should be noted that on December 5, the price of Gold on MCX crosses the Rs 54,000-mark, which was then a five-month high. Since then it has held that level.
