Gold Price Today,  April 29: Gold opened on a positive note on Multi Commodity Exchange on Thursday, April 29.  After opening at Rs 47,245 per 10 gram on MCX, the precious yellow metal made a high of Rs 47, 299 and low of Rs 47,224. On MCX, Gold June Future was trading at Rs 47, 270, up Rs 177 (0.38 %) per 10 gram, at 9.30 am on Friday.

In the International market, gold prices rose on Thursday bolstered by the US Federal Reserve's pledge to maintain easy monetary policy to aid economic recovery, while a weaker dollar provided further support, said Reuters.  

In the US market, Spot gold was up 0.2% at $1,784.94 per ounce, having dipped to $1,762 in the previous session, its lowest since April 16. U.S. gold futures rose 0.6% to $1,784.50 per ounce.

Meanwhile, in different cities of the country, the yellow metal declined substantially.  

In Mumbai, Gold price is Rs 44,490 for 22-carat, and Rs 45,490 for 24-carat.  

Delhi gold price stood at Rs 45,690 for 22-carat and Rs 49,870 for 24-carat.  

In the southern state, Chennai gold price is Rs 44,380 and Rs 48,400 for for 22-carat and 24-carat. In Bangalore, gold is being sold at Rs 44,150 for 22-carat and Rs 48,180 for 24-carat.

Gold price in Hyderabad is Rs 44,150 for 22-carat, and Rs 48,160 for 24-carat.

In Maharashtra's Pune, the yellow metal is priced at Rs 44,490 for 22-carat and Rs 45,490 for 24-carat. It was available for Rs 44,490 and 45,490 for 22-carat and 24-carat respectively in Pune.  

Gold is costing Rs 46,440 for 22-carat and Rs 49,140 for 24-carat in In Kolkata.  

In Lucknow, gold rate is Rs 45,690 for 22-carat and Rs 49,870 for 24-carat.
