Get uninterrupted pension, submit life certificate from home this way; check steps to download Jeevan Pramaan via windows, mobile app

Digital Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric-enabled digital service for pensioners. Jeevan Pramaan is generated for individual pensioners using his/her Aadhaar number and Biometrics.

The Pensioner has to provide Aadhaar Number, Name, Mobile Number and self-declared Pension Related Information like PPO Number, Pension Account number, Bank details, Name of the Pension Sanctioning Authority, Pension Disbursing Authority, etc. The pensioner has to also provide his/her biometrics either Iris or Fingerprint. You can obtain a Digital Life Certificate from various Citizen Service Centre (CSC ) located across India, office of Pension Disbursing Agencies (PDA) such as Post Office, Banks, Treasury etc. It can also be generated from home/any location on a Windows PC/Laptop, or Android Mobile.

Download Jeevan Pramaan application from windows

Step 1: To download the jeevan pramaan application click on the 'Download' tab on https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in

Step 2: Provide email-id, captcha and click on 'I agree to Download'.

Step 3: You will receive OTP on your email-id - enter the OTP.

Step 4: On entering the correct OTP the download page appears - click on 'Download For Windows OS'

Step 5: you will receive a download link on your e-mail-id - link can be clicked only once after that it expires - Click on it.

Step 6: A zip file containing the Jeevan Pramaan application will get downloaded – unzip the zip file, - after unzipping follow instructions provided in 'client installation document'.

Download Jeevan Pramaan from Mobile App

Step 1: To download the jeevan pramaan application click on the 'Download' tab on https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in

Step 2: Provide email-id, captcha and click on 'I agree to Download'.

Step 3: You will receive OTP on your email-id - enter the OTP.

Step 4: On entering correct OTP the download page appears - click on 'Mobile App download' '

Step 5: You will receive a download link on your e-mail-id - link can be clicked only once after that it expires - Click on it - application  (apk file) will get downloaded.

India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) is also providing Digital Life Certificate. To avail DLC service, a customer can either contact his/her nearest post office or place a request for a doorstep visit by the postman/Grameen Dak Sevak.
