The State Bank of India (SBI) is offering an option to open free demat and trading account. Under this offer, customers have a chance to open a demat and trading Account on SBI YONO and save Rs 1,350. The State Bank of India explaining about this offer, said the account opening worth Rs 850 will be free. Those who choose to open SBI Yono demat account will also get free DP AMC for first year worth Rs 500, making it Rs 1350 saving. Note that you must have a savings account with SBI in order to open your demat and trading account on Yono platform. This is a very good offer for those mulling to invest in stock market and planning on opening a demat account.

How to open SBI Yono Demat account
Step 1: Log on to Yono
Step 2: Go to Investments section on the app
Step 3: Click on Open demat and trading account and you are good to go
Once you click on 'Open demat and trading account' tab, follow the instructions to open trading account.
