State-owned National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has extended the 'One Vehicle, One FASTag' initiative compliance deadline to March-end.

The decision has been reportedly taken considering the problems being faced by Paytm FASTag users.

Fastag KYC Last Date Update Online: What is FASTag? 

FASTag is an electronic toll collection system implemented and operated by the NHAI. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology that helps vehicle owners make toll payments directly from the prepaid or savings account linked to it.

According to reports, FASTag has a penetration rate of around 98 per cent and is being used by over 8 crore users. FASTag, in a way, has revolutionised the electronic toll collection system in the country.
