EPFO COVID-19 Claim: The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members must be aware of the fact that they can claim COVID-19 advance with the help of their mobile phones. The facility for availing the advance for COVID-19 will be available till the pandemic prevails. COVID-19 claim through mobile
The EPFO members must know that there are certain processes by which one can file COVID-19 claim through their mobile phones.

These are as follows:

1) One can login to the UAN portal at unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and follow the steps to join and to file the claim form

2) One can also file claim through mobile by means of the UMANG app

Process through UMANG app

The process of filing claim via UMANG app from mobile is as follows:

Step 1: In the first place, the EPFO members have to login to the UMANG app

Step 2: Then the members will have to select EPFO

Step 3: After that the members will have to select Employee Centric Services

Step 4: Now, the members will have to select 'Raise Claim'

Step 5: Finally, the members will have to login with the UAN ID

Step 6: Then the members will have to enter the OTP received

Step 7: The EPFO members can the file the claim

Eligibility

One must know that the COVID-19 advance will be available only once. Any member of the EPF Scheme, 1952 with UAN and employed in any establishment or factory and covered under EPF and MP Act, 1952, are eligible for the COVID-19 scheme.
