EPFO e-Nomination with UAN: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) members must know that to avail online payment of PF and to ensure pension and EDLI scheme up to Rs 7 lakh to eligible family members, e-nomination is important. The EPFO members can complete the e-nomination process through the Universal Account Number (UAN) login.

The EPFO members must note that the purpose of the e-nomination is the online payment of PF, Pension and Insurance (EDLI) up to Rs 7 lakh to the eligible family members.

The EPFO members must note that the need for updation of the nomination is as per the need. However, the updation of the nomination is necessary after the marriage. Furthermore, self-declaration is sufficient for the e-nomination, there is no need for documentation and approval from the employer.

The process of filing e-nomination with UAN is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official EPFO website - epfindia.gov.in.

Step 2: Touch the ' Service' option available on the homepage.

Step 3: Dropbox will appear, choose the 'For Employees' option.

Step 4: Now, click on 'Member UAN/ Online Service (OCS/OTP)'

Step 5: Login with UAN and password

Step 6: Select 'E-nomination' under ' Manage Tab'

Step 7: 'Provide Details' tab will appear on the screen. Then click on 'Save'

Step 8: Now tap 'Yes' to update the family declaration

Step 9: After this, Click 'Add Family Details'.  You can add more than one nominee.

Step 10: Now, click 'Nomination Details' to declare the total amount of share.

Step11: Click on 'Save EPF/EDLI Nomination'

Step 12: Finally, Click on 'E-sign' to generate OTP and submit the OTP on mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

Now your e-nomination has been filled.
