EPFO members who are struggling to remember one's EPF Passbook Password should visit the official EPFO website to reset their EPF passbook password.

Here is your step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Visit the official websitel at epfindia.gov.in or at unified portal — mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/;

Step 2: Click on 'Forget password'. Enter the respective UAN number followed by verify button.

Step 3: One will be able to see the respective registered mobile number.

Step 4: Enter the details such as name, date of birth, gender, KYC type, and document number

Step 5: Click on verify button.

Step 6: Once the details are verified, he/she will receive an OTP on the mobile number.

Step 7: Create a new password; enter it twice.

Step 8: Once the password is changed, click on the Login button to log in with the updated password.
