e-Aadhaar Download Online: Aadhaar card users must pay attention! There is some important information for all of you from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). If you are one of those people who download your e-Aadhaar from a public computer in an internet cafe, then you and your Aadhaar are at high risk as anyone can misuse it by stealing it from the public gadget. Use of public computers should be avoided or if one does so, it is highly recommended that all downloaded copies of e-Aadhaar should be deleted.

The UIDAI Aadhaar has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle and has warned the users to refrain from downloading e-Aadhaar from any public computer. It said that even if it is downloaded, one must delete all the downloaded copies of the e-Aadhaar.

The tweet from Aadhaar said, "#BewareOfFraudsters To download an e-Aadhaar please avoid using a public computer at an internet café/kiosk. However, if you do, then it is highly recommended to delete all the downloaded copies of #eAadhaar."

Aadhar card is now one of the most important documents to establish one's identity. It is a free 12-digit identification number issued by UIDAI to all Indian citizens. Individuals should also note that, under the Aadhaar Act, an e-Aadhaar is as valid as a physical copy of Aadhaar for all reasons.
