Delhi Electricity Subsidy: Months after the Delhi government announced that power consumers in the national capital will be given an option to opt-out of the electricity subsidy scheme, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that Delhiites can avail of the scheme only if they opt for it. Kejriwal, while holding his first offline press conference since the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi in February 2020, said that several people had expressed willingness to pay their electricity bills in full.
