Mutual Funds Crorepati Calculator: Want to retire rich but don't have a big lumpsum amount for investment purposes? No worry at all! Zee Business Mutual Fund Helpline has come out with a unique Systematic Investment trick that will enable an investor to generate Rs 4 crore in just 25 years. Tax and investment expert Joydeep Sen is of the opinion that getting to the Rs 4 crore investment goal is possible through SIP provided the investor increases monthly SIP every year.

Joydeep Sen, Founder, Wiseinvestor.in, said, "To achieve an investment goal of Rs 4 crore after 25 years requires an investor to start a monthly SIP from Rs 17,000 to Rs 18,000 assuming an annual investment returns of 10 per cent." However, he said that much depends upon the risk appetite of the investor. 10 per cent return is expected from investment in low risk involved mutual funds SIP like mid-cap, multi-cap etc.

Sen said that if someone has higher risk appetite then one can move on to small-cap mutual fund plans as these would give higher returns. But he said that even after having a high-risk appetite, one won't be able to achieve this investment goal through Rs 17,000 to Rs 18,000 SIP only. The investor will need to use some trick to reach Rs 4 cr mark. And most preferred trick is to step-up monthly SIP by 10 per cent per annum.

Sen said that by increasing the monthly SIP by 10 per cent, one will be able to minimise the mutual funds market risk and would become assured about achieving Rs 4 crore investment goal in 25 years.
