CNG-PNG price hike: MGL increases prices of CNG and PNG in Mumbai and adjoining areas, see new prices and other details
Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has decided to increase the prices of CNG and PNG (CNG-PNG) in Mumbai and adjoining areas.
CNG-PNG Prices in Mumbai: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has decided to increase the prices of CNG and PNG (CNG-PNG) in Mumbai and adjoining areas. This means that the common people will have to spend more for CNG and PNG with this new year. The revised prices have been put into effect from the midnight of January 8, 2022.

MGL has also tweeted from its official Twitter handle about its revised prices. The tweet said, "MGL announces the revised prices of CNG as ₹. 66/Kg and PNG ₹. 39.50/SCM in and around Mumbai w.e.f. midnight of 8th January,2022."

It has to be noted that the basic price of CNG has increased by Rs 2.50 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 1.5 per scm. Recently, on December 18, the price of CNG-PNG was increased.
Earlier, the MGL had increased the prices of CNG and PNG (CNG-PNG Price Hike) in Mumbai. Under the price that came into effect from the night of December 17, the price of CNG was increased by Rs 2 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 1.50 per SCM.
In the first week of December, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) had increased the prices of CNG in Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. After which the price of CNG in Delhi-NCR region was Rs 53.04.
