In a shocking development, fraudsters have tried to dupe people of their hard-earned money by masquerading as Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi. At least 4-5 people in Zee Business’ Delhi and Mumbai offices received WhatsApp messages from unknown international number with photograph of Anil Singhvi, demanding money.
The number appears to be of Dubai. One such message was sent to Kushal Gupta, a colleague of Singhvi.
This is what it said – “Good Morning Kushal. Let me know if you’re on duty today… I need you to run a a quick task for me immediately kindly send a chat back as I’m currently busy having a zoom meeting at the moment…??”.
Informing about this to the viewers, Anil Singhvi during his show, said that the message further said that he was in Dubai for some office-related work.
Similar messages were sent to other colleagues as well.
Singhvi has warned people to be beware of any such message received from unknown sources and not fall prey to it.

He said that he will never send messages demanding money in any form from anybody. He said that people who know him should think before taking any such decision.
