The State Bank of India (SBI) has warned its customers about fraudulent customer care numbers. The state-run bank has tweeted to alert its customers.

"Beware of fraudulent customer care numbers. Please refer to the official website of SBI for correct customer care numbers. Refrain from sharing confidential banking information with anyone," SBI tweeted.

It can be noted that this is not the first time when SBI has alerted it customers about cyber-crimes. Along with SBI several other banks too have warned their customers about the same. 

Recently, SBI had also shared a tweet of RBI Says, which is a Public Awareness initiative of the Reserve Bank of India, warning people about sharing their banking details.

"RBI Kehta Hai do not share your banking and other personal information with unknown people or through unverified websites. Stay alert and Be Safe With SBI," SBI wrote sharing the tweet.

 

Whereas RBI Says had tweeted, "RBI Kehta Hai.. Stay Alert! Do not share your login details, personal information, copies of KYC documents, card information, PIN, password, OTP etc. with unknown people or through unverified websites or Apps. Be Aware, Be Secure."
