Adding to that, the student can get access to most services and facilities internationally and also be eligible for student exchange programs and Global Study Awards Scholarship.
In India, one can get an ISIC for themselves, if they are 12 years and above and are affiliated with a recognised school/college/university. The student is thus required to present their identification as such as well as a bonafide. The card remains valid for 12 months since issue and costs Rs 500+GST for the individual.

HDFC Bank
The bank provides its customer the facility to get a ISIC student ForexPlus card, wherein the student can recharge the card with three widely accepted currencies: USD, Euro and GBP. Since the card is recognised worldwide, the student can benefit with offers across 41,000 partners across 130 countries on food, accommodation, travel and study material.
Additionally, the HDFC Bank ISIC ForexPlus card also comes with card insurance cover for the cardholder. So to say, smaller problems like losing the card air accident or loss of baggage will avail the cardholder some lump sum. The card also helps the student understand their expenditure by keeping a track and is safe from Forex fluctuations once loaded. One can get the card for just Rs 300, with reload cost of Rs 75 only.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bank provides an ISIC card where one can recharge with any of the five currencies: USD, EURO, GBP, AUD and CAD. Having a validity for three years, the card card also comes with a free replacement in case the primary one gets lost. The student with this card can avail 40,000 targeted benefits and discounts in close to 126,000 locations across 130 countries.
Axis Bank
Being the third private bank to provide the service of ISIC card, Axis Bank is issuing the card with the first of its kind photo travel currency card. The card is available for the students in USD, Euro, GBP and AUD currencies with a validity of 2 years. Additionally, the Axis Bank- ISIC Forex Card holder can get offers across 34 million merchant locations and at over 2 million MasterCard ATMs globally.
