Whether you have lost your original card or it is damaged beyond use, UIDAI online services help in providing a duplicate Aadhar card from the comfort of your home. Just follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the UIDAI website

Start by visiting the official UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on 'My Aadhaar'

Once on the website, look for the 'My Aadhaar' tab and click on it.

Step 3: Select 'Order Aadhaar Reprint'

Under the 'My Aadhaar' section, you'll find various services. Select 'Order Aadhaar Reprint' from the list.

Step 4: Enter Aadhaar Number or Virtual ID

Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number or your 16-digit Virtual ID, along with a security code displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Request OTP

After entering your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID, you'll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP to proceed.

Step 6: Confirm Details and Make Payment

Once the OTP is verified, you'll be directed to a page where you can review your details. Ensure all the information is correct, then proceed to make the payment for the reprint of your Aadhaar card. The reprint charges may vary.

Step 7: Download the Duplicate Aadhaar Card

After successful payment, you'll receive a confirmation message along with a Service Request Number (SRN). You can use this SRN to track the status of your reprint request. Within a few days, your duplicate Aadhaar card will be printed and sent to your registered address via post.

Step 8: Download e-Aadhaar

While you wait for your physical Aadhaar card to arrive, you can download an electronic copy of your Aadhaar card (e-Aadhaar) from the UIDAI website. This e-Aadhaar is equally valid and can be used for various purposes.

Step 9: Check Aadhaar Status

If you want to track the status of your reprint request, you can do so by visiting the UIDAI website and selecting the 'Check Aadhaar Reprint Status' option under the 'My Aadhaar' tab. Enter your SRN and Aadhaar number or Virtual ID to check the status.
