Aadhaar Card Details Update Process: Self Service Portal! Name, gender, date of birth and address online; Check steps, process, charges, here

Do you have to update details on your Aadhaar card? If yes, then there is good news for you. Now you can update your demographic details (name, date of birth, gender, address and language) online through Self Service Update Portal (SSUP).

People can note that SSUP is a portal for Aadhaar holders which is used to correct or update their address in Aadhaar online.

https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/ to update your Name, Gender, DoB, and Address. Charges: ₹50 per request, more than one detail can be updated at once," UIDAI tweeted.

 

https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/ and click on 'proceed to update Adhaar'.

Step 2: Provide your relevant credentials online, including the Aadhaar number and captcha.

Step 3: Click on the 'Send OTP' option.

Step 4: Next you will receive a six-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. As you will enter the OTP you will be allowed to update your demographics data.

Step 5: Make the relevant changes to your name, address, date of birth, or language wherever required and submit it by clicking on 'Proceed'.

Step 6: Upload relevant documents in support of the changes made.

Step 7: Submit and review the changes made.

Step 8: You will be provided with an update request number (URN) which can be used to check the status of your Aadhaar card update process.
