7th Pay Commission latest news: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application for the post of Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology). The job offered carries all 7th CPC pay and perks for the candidate after selection and the vacancy is under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Applicants after selection will be employed in Level-11 and their pay scale will be Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700. The total number of vacancies for the post of Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardiology) is 13 out of which 04 seats are reserved for the SC candidate, 02 for ST, 04 for OBC and 03 seats have been made available for non-reserved or UR category.

The last date for receipt of the application is 28th November 2019. Those who are interested in the vacancy can log in at upsconline.nic.in — the official website of the UPSC to find out the eligibility criteria and other details. Out of the 13 vacancies, one is reserved for the Physically Challenged person viz. Blindness and low vision with disability i.e. Low Vision (LV). 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix
After selection, the selected candidate will get Pay Band 3 i.e. Rs 15,600 to 39,100 plus Grade Pay Rs 6,600 with NPA (pre-revised). He or she will be appointed in Level-11. According to the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations accepted by the Central Government, the selected Level-11 candidates will get a Pay Scale of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 with NPA (Revised).

Age Limit
A general category candidate should not exceed 40 years as on the normal closing date. In the case of ST candidate, the upper age limit is 45 as on the normal closing date. For an OBC candidate, the upper age limit stands at 43 years as on the normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
