7th Pay Commission latest news today: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has sought application against 44 posts at its official website, which is upsconline.nic.in.  The candidates meeting the set criteria for these jobs and willing to apply for these posts can send in their applications online, latest by October 29, 2020.  We list the educational qualification, salary, age limit, application fee and how to apply for the UPSC advertised posts.

UPSC Vacancies: The invitation has been sought by the UPSC for five different posts-- Foreman (Electrical), Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics), Senior Scientific Assistant (Metallurgy), Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery) (CTVS) and Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Radio-Diagnosis).  

Educational Qualification:  Candidates applying for Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics), Senior Scientific Assistant (Metallurgy) must possess degree from recognized engineering colleges.  Detailed information regarding posts and recruitment process, the candidates should refer to UPSC official notification. 

7th Pay Commission Pay: The selected candidates will be entitled for monthly salary as per 7th CPC pay matrix level-07 and 11 as per their job details. 

Age limit: General category candidates between age group of 30 years to 40 years can apply for their respective positions. However, the candidates falling under reserved categories can avail the relaxation in maximum age limit as per the government’s norms.  

Application fees:  Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Challenged and women applicants have been exempted from paying application fee, however, other rest all categories will have to pay Rs 25 as application fee.   

How to Apply: The candidates willing to apply for these positions can visit the UPSC official website: upsconline.nic.in. and submit their applications online with required documents, latest by October 29, 2020.   

Guidelines:  

*Before filling up the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates must go through the detailed Advertisement available on the Commission's website. Please proceed to fill the online application only if you are satisfied that you possess the minimum Essential Qualifications stipulated for the post in the detailed advertisement. Otherwise, submitted application(s) shall be outrightly rejected. 

*The date for determining the eligibility of all the candidates in every respect shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of Online Recruitment Application (ORA), unless specified otherwise. 

*The applicants are advised to fill in all their particulars in the Online Recruitment Application carefully as submission of wrong information may lead to rejection through computer based short-listing apart from debarment by the Commission. 

*The candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail address in the online application as any Correspondence will be made by the Commission through e-mail only.  

*The applicants are advised to submit only single Online Recruitment Application for a particular post. However, if they submit multiple Online Recruitment Applications for one post, then they must ensure that the Online Recruitment Application with the higher 'Application Number' is complete in all respects including fee, wherever applicable.  

*The candidates are not required to send the printouts of their online applications to the Commission.
