7th Pay Commission latest news: Hindu College has issued notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Level-10 pay scale.
7th Pay Commission latest news: Online applications are invited in the prescribed Application Form at Weblink colrec.du.ac.in from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Assistant Professors in various subjects/departments, in the Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs 57,700 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix in the Hindu College, University of Delhi. The last date for receipt of online application is 8th February 2020. This deadline has been extended in the latest corrigendum released in the Employment News dated 25-31 January 2020. For details, interested and eligible candidates can visit the College Website - hinducollege.ac.in - as well as the University of Delhi Website - du.ac.in. Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates may approach the Helpdesk set up at the College in case they require any assistance in filling up an application form.
All applicants are required to apply online in the prescribed format with complete, correct information and attachments. The applicant will be solely responsible for the authenticity of the submitted information. Applicants are required to fill the application form is available on the College website. The posts are being advertised keeping in view the broad areas of specialization in subjects. However, the Department concerned may have a specific requirement of specialization. The applications received shall be screened as per screening guidelines attached to this advertisement for shortlisting and recommending the applicants to be called for an interview.

The total number of vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor at the Hindu College is 21. Out of these 21 vacancies, 6 vacancies are for the Chemistry department where 3 is reserved for the unreserved (UR) category applicants while one each vacancy is for SC, OBC and EWS category applicants. 5 vacancies have been notified for the English department where 2 are reserved for the UR category applicants while one is reserved for SC, ST and PwBD (person with Benchmark disability). 5 vacancies are for the Department of History where 2 seats have been kept reserved for the SC applicants while out of rest three seats, one each has been reserved for the ST, OBC and UR category applicants. Three seats have been notified for the Department of Political Science. Out of these three seats at the Political Science department, one each seat has been kept reserved for the UR, OBC and PwBD applicants. Two vacancies have been notified in the Sanskrit department where one seat each has been kept reserved for the UR and OBC applicants.
Application Fee
Fee for the Assistant Professor post at the Hindu College is Rs 500 for UR, OBC and EWS category applicants. No application fee will be charged from applicants from SC, ST, PwBD category and Women applicants.
