7th Pay Commission latest jobs: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting job applications for the post of Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology) at the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The total number of vacancies is 24 and after successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be given Group 'A' central government job, which is permanent in nature. 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale
As mentioned above, the selected candidate will be appointed as Group 'A' officer in the central government service in Level-11 pay matrix. means the 7th Pay Commission pay scale applicable for the post is from Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 plus other Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA) and other allowances approved under the 7th nCPC (Central Pay commission).

Total number of 7th CPC vacancies
The total number of vacancies notified by the UPSC is 24. Out of these 24 vacancies, 5 seats are reserved for UR category applicants, 9 for OBC candidates, 7 for the SC category applicants while 2 for the ST candidates.
Essential qualifications
An applicant should have (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neurology) or Diplomate National Board (Neurology).
On experience front, the applicant should have at least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
