7th Pay Commission! The Indian Railways has huge number of vacancies under the 7th CPC salary system that led to big hike in salaries of government employees. This has made government jobs as high-paying as those in the  private sector. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Western Railway has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer and Depot Material Superintendent from interested candidates, who should submit their applications before the last date i.e, October 15, 2019 at its official website rrc-wr.com. According to the notification, there are 141 posts of Junior Engineer and 8 positions for Depot Material Superintendent. All posts fall under the 7th pay commission system. Candidates should know that the application process for the recruitment has already started from September 16, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold Three years Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration Or they should have a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

For Mechanical positions, candidates should have Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering Or they should have a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.

For Electrical positions, candidates should have Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering Or should have a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.
