The written representations are invited by the Finance Minister prior to the meeting between senior Finance Ministry officials and Infosys on June 22.

(Prior to the meeting between senior Finance Ministry officials & Infosys on June 22),"NSitharamanOffice tweeted.Earlier the Income Tax Department had informed that senior Finance Ministry officials will hold an interactive meeting with Infosys on June 22, 2021, between 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM on issues in the new Income Tax e-Filing portal.
Stakeholders including ICAI members, auditors, consultants and taxpayers will be part of the interaction and Infosys team will clarify on glitches faced.
The new portal has been fraught with several technical glitches/issues leading to taxpayer inconvenience.
Representatives from the Infosys team will be present to answer queries, clarify issues and receive inputs on the working of the portal, to remove glitches and sort out issues faced by the taxpayers.
The new IT e-Filing portal was launched on June 7, after which taxpayers have been complaining about several difficulties like being unable to access the new portal.
