EPS pensioners ALERT! Now get PPO number using bank account or PF number, here is HOW
Knowing the PPO number is very important for a person as it is used at the time of raising grievances with EPFO. An individual is required to use UAN or PPO number for the speedy redressal of the grievance.
Employees who are registered under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) are provided with a unique number or a code that helps them to get a pension after their retirement.
The unique number or code given to the pensioners is termed as Pension Payment Order (PPO). The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) allots this number to every employee who retires from any organisation.
