In which states are banks closed for Ramadan Eid?
Bank holiday on 11th April 2024
Banks are closed across the country due to Eid except Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kochi, Shimla and Thiruvananthapuram.
Notably, in April, banks will be closed for a total of 14 days. The 14-day holiday in April will include national and regional holidays as well as Sundays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays.

April 13, 2024: Banks will remain closed across the country due to the second Saturday of the month as well as the Bohag Bihu/Cheiraoba/Baisakhi/Biju Festival.
April 14, 2024: Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
April 15, 2024: Banks will remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla due to Himachal Day/Bohag Bihu.
April 17, 2024: Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad( Andhra Pradesh & Telangana), Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai, and Nagpur on the festival of Shri Ram Navami.
April 20, 2024: There will be a bank holiday in Agartala due to Garia Puja.
April 21, 2024: Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
April 27, 2024: Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.
April 28, 2024: Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
