Maharashtra police on Saturday busted a fake currency racket from Thane’s Wagle Estate Unit -5. The cops have apprehended two persons along with Rs 8 crore worth Rs 2000 denomination note in connection with the case.
According to a news agency ANI, “Unit 5 of Thane Crime Branch seized fake Indian currency notes in Rs 2000 denomination with face value of Rs 8 crore. Two people, both residents of Palghar were arrested. Search for other accused underway, probe initiated.”
