LIC Housing Finance launches special home loan scheme for defence personnel at 8.4% interest

LIC Housing Finance has introduced a special home loan scheme for Indian defence forces. Under the 'Griha Rakshak' scheme, the NBFC is offering home loans up to Rs 2 crore at an interest of 8.4 per cent per annum to eligible applicants with a credit score of 750 and above.
The Mumbai-headquartered housing finance company has also waived processing fees under the limited-period offer.

"Griha Rakshak stands as our heartfelt tribute to the armed forces, recognizing their unwavering commitment to these ideals,” he added.
The NBFC has announced the offer with a limited validity period of around 1 month and 14 days, till September 30, 2024.
