LIC Housing Finance launches special home loan scheme for defence personnel at 8.4% interest

LIC Housing Finance has introduced a special home loan scheme for Indian defence forces. Under the 'Griha Rakshak' scheme, the NBFC is offering home loans up to Rs 2 crore at an interest of 8.4 per cent per annum to eligible applicants with a credit score of 750 and above.
The Mumbai-headquartered housing finance company has also waived processing fees under the limited-period offer.

Tribhuwan Adhikari, MD & CEO, LIC Housing Finance Limited said we are proud to give special rates on home loans for our armed forces personnel. "This initiative is a way of expressing gratitude to the armed forces who are selflessly protecting our nation's freedom and security," further said.
"Griha Rakshak stands as our heartfelt tribute to the armed forces, recognizing their unwavering commitment to these ideals,” he added.
The NBFC has announced the offer with a limited validity period of around 1 month and 14 days, till September 30, 2024.
