Banks will remain closed today, May 5 in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
However, one needs to note that bank holidays differ according to states and regions as some holidays are observed as nationwide public holidays while others are treated as local holidays. Hence, it is advised to visit the bank branch accordingly for any bank-related important work next month.
